Every year, Jill contacts me to do a photo shoot to celebrate her birthday, how fun! Last year we did an “adult smash cake” complete with a little black dress, champagne, and of course: chocolate cake! This year, I suggested we do more of a styled shoot with a retro theme, since Jill mentioned she had a stellar pair of black leather pants she wanted to wear! I immediately thought of her standing in an old fashioned dairy bar, just like in Grease! I contacted Red Knapps to see if they’d let me sneak in early again, and of course they said yes! I love that we had a theme for the shoot, rather than just portraits outside, because it really helped Jill get into character and make her photos unique!

What a fun session. This location in Michigan would be perfect for my senior photography session as well. I will contact you to get more information about booking you as my photographer.

If you are able to capture this many details in a portrait shoot I can’t even imagine the awesome things you capture at a Wedding in Michigan. I love that she returns to you every year for her birthday shoots and that you have a great relationship as a photographer and client.
