If you know Krissie, then you know when I say that she is one of the most amazing people on the planet that I am not even close to lying. I am extra lucky because I’ve known her for over 15 years and have the privilege of calling her my big sister that I never had. When I went off to college, she sent me a box of the essentials including a pack of Ramen noodles and my very first glue gun! She’s someone that you can count on no matter what: she even drove almost an hour to my house to babysit my daughter earlier this year when I was in a crunch! When Anthony entered the picture, I knew he must be someone VERY special, because if you know Krissie, you also know she has a few “quirks” about her such as her sassy chihuahua, Gucci, an addiction to Hobby Lobby, and an absolute love for all things Disney! Turns out, Anthony is more than anyone ever could have hoped for when it came to the perfect partner for Krissie!!
The Opera House in Grand Ledge was the perfect setting for their romantic wedding day with all their closest friends and family. Although the day was cold and windy, it couldn’t have been more beautiful! I’m so glad that before the ceremony, we did a practice run with the flower girl and ring bearer, because during the actually ceremony the poor ring bearer just couldn’t make it down the aisle! I loved all the little details that Krissie and Anthony added to their day to make it unique to them, including making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to signify their new life together! After the ceremony, we braved the low temps for portraits around the property. My absolute favorite portrait was the big white blanket wrapped around Krissie, making her look like a true Disney Princess! Also, I have to add, that having a make-your-own taco bar for dinner is pretty much the best idea ever!! I am so honored that Krissie and Anthony chose me to capture their big day and wish them all the love in the world in the years to come!
